Rebecca Nalley

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), MA, LAPC

About Me
My name is Rebecca (Becky) Nalley, Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in Georgia and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) in South Carolina. I know how overwhelming life can feel at times—whether you’re a child learning to manage big emotions, a teen facing pressures at school, or an adult struggling with depression, anxiety, or life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where you or your child can feel understood, let your guard down, and begin the process of healing.
My Approach
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns, along with a person-centered approach that emphasizes compassion, empathy, and collaboration. With children, I often incorporate creative or play-based strategies; with teens and adults, we focus on practical coping skills and personal strengths. I also offer the option of incorporating Christian principles into therapy if desired—while ensuring that all clients, regardless of background, feel welcomed and respected.
Who I Work With
I work with children (ages 5+), teens, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, or difficult life changes. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and together we find healthy ways to cope, build resilience, and move toward a more hopeful future.
Background
I earned my B.S. in Psychology from Middle Georgia State University and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I am also a Certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessment Facilitator. My passion for helping others began early as the daughter of a pastor, where faith and service to others were a daily part of life.
Beyond the Office
When I’m not counseling, you’ll likely find me at the beach, crafting, or spending time with my children and grandson. I love creating personalized items for my Etsy shop in my spare time—a reminder that creativity and meaning can be found in the little things. My hope is that, just as I find fulfillment in what I love, you’ll find success, peace, and joy in your own journey, too.
